A ministry started by the American Baptist Churches in 1941, Camp Arrah Wanna is committed to "providing a beautiful, peaceful and safe environment where people can experience the transforming power of love and find support through healthy relationships and activities." We want this to be the foundation of every service we provide.
Camp is located just off Hwy 26 at the western base of Mt. Hood in Northern Oregon. Our 130 acres of native forest are bounded by the Salmon River and the Wildwood Recreation Area, providing an exquisite backdrop from which to leave the cares of the world behind. Just about an hour’s drive from downtown Portland, Arrah Wanna is the perfect location for your next camp, conference, retreat, family reunion or company event.
Primarily serving the non-profit community, Arrah Wanna is available for rental year-round and it is our goal to make you feel at home while you are here with us. Due to our variety of lodging and meal options, we can accommodate groups as small as 10 and as large as 275. We have many activities on-site which can fill your day as much, or as little, as you would like. From our high ropes challenge course to the simple serenity of a hike along the river, you are sure to find just what you need to leave your retreat feeling refreshed, renewed and rejuvenated after your stay here with us.
Our beautiful location, great food and excellent customer service truly do make us the mountain home for many returning guests each year. We welcome you to join our family!
