A ministry started by the American Baptist Churches in 1941, Camp Arrah Wanna is committed to "providing a beautiful, peaceful and safe environment where people can experience the transforming power of love and find support through healthy relationships and activities." We want this to be the foundation of every service we provide.
Camp is located just off Hwy 26 at the western base of Mt. Hood in Northern Oregon. Our 130 acres of native forest are bound by the Salmon River and the Wildwood Recreation Area, providing an exquisite backdrop from which to leave the cares of the world behind. Only a 1-hour drive from Portland, Arrah Wanna is the perfect location for your next camp, conference, retreat, family reunion or event.
Primarily serving the non-profit community, Camp Arrah Wanna is available for rental year-round. Our goal is to make you feel at home while here. Due to our variety of lodging and meal options, we can accommodate groups as small as 10 and as large as 265. We have many activities on-site which can fill your day as much, or as little, as you would like. From our high ropes challenge course to the simple serenity of a hike along the river, you are sure to find just what you need to leave feeling refreshed, renewed and rejuvenated after your stay with us.
Our beautiful location, great food and excellent customer service make us the mountain home for thousands of returning guests each year. We welcome you to join our family!
